Legacy, Trust, and the Power of Relationships

A Conversation with Janet Henfield-Green, Business Development Manager at ARI Financial Group

Aventura, FL - At ARI Financial Group, we believe that legacy is not just about preserving wealth—it’s about protecting relationships, honoring values, and creating continuity across generations. For Janet Henfield-Green, our Business Development Manager for the LATAM, U.S. and Caribbean markets, that mission is at the core of everything she does.

Janet’s journey with ARI began long before her official start date. Years ago, while working in private banking, she met Eric Bouskila, as a client. What stood out to him wasn’t just her professionalism—but the way she prioritized trust, empathy, and personal connection.

“Eric believed the way I worked with clients could translate to ARI’s model,” Janet recalls. “At first, I wasn’t sure. But over time, I watched the firm grow into exactly the kind of place I’d always wanted to be a part of—where relationships matter as much as results.”

After securing her own life insurance policy through ARI, Janet found herself naturally explaining the process to others—what she did, why she did it, and how it could benefit their families. That clarity and conviction led her to join the firm shortly after the pandemic.

“It was the right change at the right time. I already knew many people on the team, and joining felt like coming home.”

Drawing on her extensive experience providing banking and financing solutions to ultra-high-net-worth individuals across both international and domestic financial institutions, Eric recognized the opportunity for Janet to manage the premium financing division at ARI Financial for existing clients. In addition to her business development role, through her strategic oversight, she adeptly transforms both established and emerging banking partnerships into enduring, value-driven relationships.

LATAM Focus: Trust Before Transactions

Today, Janet plays a key role in ARI’s LATAM strategy—partnering closely with Elizabeth Torres, Managing Partner, LATAM. Their collaboration is built on mutual trust, cultural fluency, and a shared vision of what meaningful legacy planning looks like for families across Latin America.

“We’re not product pushers,” Janet emphasizes. “In LATAM, trust comes first—and it must be earned. We focus on understanding each family’s story, their goals, and how we can protect what matters to them.”

With Elizabeth leading expansion efforts across the region, Janet ensures that client relationships are nurtured with consistency and care. She brings deep operational insight, guiding each case from conversation to implementation with a personal touch.

“Elizabeth opens doors. I make sure what comes next runs smoothly. We work hand in hand, and that allows us to offer a full-circle experience for our clients.”

As Elizabeth noted in her own recent interview, ARI’s LATAM growth is driven by quality, not quantity. Together, she and Janet ensure every client feels seen, understood, and supported.

What Sets ARI Apart

Janet’s approach—like ARI’s—is rooted in the long term. Many of the families she works with are referred by existing clients, a testament to the trust she builds and the value she delivers.

“Clients refer us because they feel we truly care,” Janet says. “When they introduce us to their friends or family, that’s the highest compliment.”

Having personally experienced the benefits of ARI’s planning tools, Janet speaks with authenticity. She’s not just offering solutions—she’s living them.

“Legacy planning is emotional. It’s about more than wealth—it’s about security, love, and what you leave behind. When clients feel that we understand that, everything changes.”
