Mr. Bouskila hails from Israel, where he served the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in an elite paratrooper unit. He earned his degree in Finance from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Prior to founding ARI Financial Group, Mr. Bouskila resided in Canada where he created a home security company that quickly became the fastest privately-owned home security company in metropolitan Toronto. After opening a U.S. branch of the company, he sold it to ADT, which commended the organization for its high client retention and superior customer service.

JEFF KUGLER, CLU®, ChFC®

Mr. Kugler is a seasoned industry veteran with nearly three decades of experience. At ARI Financial Group, he works closely with advisors, helping them better service high-net-worth individuals. From facilitating a greater understanding of life insurance solutions to ensuring client program efficacy, Mr. Kugler excels in creative and innovative planning, consistently delivering solutions that yield the best results.
Mr. Kugler joined the Guardian Home Office in 1996, working in various departments, including Product Support, Conservation, and Competition and in Product Development, where he helped initiate multiple product enhancements. In 2005, he became the Southeast Regional Director of Life Sales, covering 12 states and more than 20 offices. Through his leadership, Mr. Kugler’s 12-state region became the territory with the largest sales volume for four consecutive years.
Born in Brooklyn, Mr. Kugler graduated from Baruch College and holds his CLU® and ChFC® designations.
MARLENE WINDMILLER, ESQ.
Business Development Director
Ms. Windmiller is responsible for local and domestic business development for ARI Financial Group, where she has worked since 2014. Using her keen eye for new opportunities and a multilateral background in insurance, finance and law, Ms. Windmiller synthesizes her various disciplines to develop customized planning solutions and unparalleled 360-degree strategies on behalf of her clients. She recently won Surplus Line and is a member of the Guardian President’s Council.
Additionally, she is a member of Guardian Leaders Club, and has been awarded the Guardian’s Christopher Ferrara Memorial New Agent of the Year.
For nearly 16 years, Ms. Windmiller was the Co-founder and Principal of Klein Windmiller, LLC, a boutique legal consulting and recruiting firm specializing in strategic global attorney placement. Her clients included international law firms, banks, hedge funds and Fortune 500 corporations. Prior to consulting, Marlene was a bankruptcy attorney. She has also been a career columnist for the New York Law Journal and served as a panelist at various law schools and New York City Bar Association career seminars.
Ms. Windmiller graduated magna cum laude from the State University of New York at Albany with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and English. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Union University at Albany Law School, and is admitted to the New York State Bar.
JONATHAN CARPENTER, CPA
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Carpenter is a seasoned financial professional with more than a decade of experience in the South Florida market. At ARI Financial Group, he is responsible for calculating financial and operating metrics, maintaining an accounting transactions system of controls, and developing and improving upon strategies that maximize profits and reduce costs.
Mr. Carpenter’s career has spanned across several industries, including stonework construction, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, transportation, marketing, import/export, hospitality, home services, computer network engineering, retail, and custom furniture.
He is Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Florida and graduated magna cum laude from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He also received his Master’s in Taxation from Florida Atlantic University.
A native South Floridian, Mr. Carpenter currently resides in Coral Springs. He donates consistently to the Goodwill and Salvation Army.
New Business Account Manager
Rimma Portnova plays a critical role in the day-to-day operations and management at ARI Financial Group, as she is the forefront of our superior customer care platform. Ms. Portnova assists ARI Financial case managers in the underwriting process by requesting essential data including all medical information on clients. Her responsibilities include working with carriers to obtain physicians’ medical records and ensuring that all pertinent information is submitted in a timely manner. She also supports business managers with the applications for submission to carriers and she is a Notary Public.
Born and raised in Rostov, Russia, Ms. Portnova currently resides in Miami, Florida with her husband and two children. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University with the degree in accounting. Ms. Portnova is a highly-qualified insurance professional with several years of involvement in the industry. Because of her vast experience, Ms. Portnova understands the nature of the challenges that face our clients, and she prides herself in finding qualified and creative solutions to fulfill all our clients’ needs.
Office Manager & In-Force Account Manager
Ms. Soiferman has been invaluable asset to the ARI Financial Group team since joining the company in 2013. She serves as the primary liaison between clients, lenders and carriers. As the chief liaison, she provides ongoing counsel and support, coordinates all premium-financed payments, prepares detailed performance reviews for client annual meetings, and ensures all transactions are handled effectively and executed flawlessly.
Prior to joining ARI Financial Group, Ms. Soiferman worked in the financial industry as an Associate Investment Advisor for more than 15 years in Toronto. During her time in Toronto, she was actively involved in local charity work, and was a co-founder and lifetime member of the local chapter of Canadian Hadassah-WIZO (CHW). In that role, she managed fundraising for various programs and services focused on children, healthcare, and women’s issues.
Born and raised in Montreal, Ms. Soiferman graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor’s of Commerce. A true globetrotter who’s traveled to more than 30 countries, she currently resides in Aventura, Florida.
Business Development Manager
Elizabeth Torres is a seasoned professional with more than 15 years of experience. She is responsible for the design and implementation of solutions for clients, end-to-end case management, and customer relationship management, principally managing Bank Leumi Aventura and Panama.
Since joining ARI Financial Group, she has made significant contributions to the company and its clients. She has built her reputation on developing creative solutions to enhance financial returns for sizeable insurance portfolios. Ms. Torres was named 2016 Guardian New Agent of the Year, and is helping to break records as this is the second year both an ARI advisor and a woman has won this distinction.
Ms. Torres earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Barry University, and is a licensed life insurance agent. She is currently in the process of obtaining her CLU certification.

Business Development Manager
Mr. Haratz has a solid background with more than 10 years in finance and sales. Fueled by innovative thinking and an entrepreneurial spirit, he brings a unique blend of experience and creativity to his business development role at ARI Financial Group. He is responsible for expanding the firm’s reach into new markets and with new clients by developing strategic partnerships with long-term value.
He began his career in finance at ING Bank, and later went to work at P&G Latin America. Both experiences gave him the opportunity to work behind-the-scenes on the structuring of specific financial models, ultimately teaching him how to cater solutions for a wide range of clients.
Mr. Haratz is from Caracas, Venezuela and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Management from IE Business School in Spain. During his free time, he volunteers at Chabad where he works to promote Jewish education.
PETER L. HARJES, CFP®

With more than a decade of experience, Peter Harjes focuses on design and presentation of overall strategies, and assists in the advanced planning of cases. In his role as Senior Financial Strategist at ARI Financial Group, he utilizes his expertise to devise how clients can accommodate and benefit from including insurance solutions into their overall financial and estate plans.
Mr. Harjes started his career in insurance immediately after college and quickly established his reputation in the industry because of his novel solutions and personalized client approach.
Mr. Harjes received a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Maryland & Hofstra University and earned his CFP® accreditation through Boston University. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), CFP® Board, MDRT and AALU.
He is a native New Yorker. During his free time, Mr. Harjes is an avid supporter of the FIDF (Friends of Israeli Defense Forces), UJA (United Jewish Federation of NY), and the North Shore Animal League. He also contributes to St. Jude Cancer Research.

With over a decade of insurance industry experience, Mr. Schreck’s expertise is of great value to our clients and business development. He resourcefully approaches each case by applying his extensive knowledge base to critically solve the unique problems our clients face. Throughout his career, Mr. Schreck has fine-tuned his expertise in management, customer service, and sales by developing his core strengths as an exceptional communicator, problem solver, and critical thinker. From the design of a case to its implementation and InForce review, Mr. Schreck’s customer service is unparalleled.
In addition to his case management responsibilities, Mr. Schreck acutely develops new business opportunities with trade professionals and prospective clients nationwide. Although he’s originally a Florida native, currently, Mr. Schreck resides in California where he runs the day-to-day operations of our west coast offices in Los Angeles and Palo Alto. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Florida and is proud to be a Florida Gator.
Mr. Schreck is devoted to supporting the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer, the Alzheimer’s Association, and the World Wildlife Fund.
Mr. Coffey brings more than 30 years of experience to ARI Financial Group. As a recognized industry expert in pension planning nationwide, he focuses on developing and implementing retirement plans for clients with an emphasis on creative and innovative solutions.
Mr. Coffey built his reputation on the successful construction and expansion of retirement practices for growing financial service firms across the country. From the moment he joined the Pension Department at Guardian Life Insurance Company of America in the early 1980s, Mr. Coffey has dedicated his career to creating unprecedented opportunities for his clients and to reaching retirement plan potentials for his high-net worth clients.
Born in Ireland, Mr. Coffey currently resides in Atlanta. He earned the Fellow of the Life Management Institute (FLMI) designation from the Life Office Management Association. He is passionate about philanthropy, and supports the Lupus Society as well as the Boys & Girls Club.
